The Business Growth Expert Programme is designed to be a flexible, affordable programme to help the owner-managers of small businesses to get their business established on a sound footing, and growing successfully - and to grow you into your own Business Growth Expert.
In designing the programme we recognise that sometimes one-to-one coaching is the best fit, and sometimes being part of a group is the best support. What works best for you will depend on timing, resources, your situation and your personal preference.
To that end, we've crafted a programme that offers both, with the ability to swap from one to the other as it suits you.
We also recognise that what you want from your support varies over time: sometimes you want focused, intensive support to make something happen, to implement. Sometimes you want a consistent, sustained level of ongoing support as your business evolves more slowly.
And before you get to that stage you'll want to explore what we are about. Check us out and make sure we fit!
So we offer three stages of engagement (explore, implement and sustain), and two types (group coaching and private client coaching):
The first step is for you and I to arrange an informal chat. This is an opportunity for you to see how you feel about working with me, and for me to discover more about your business, what your goals are, to understand whether I can help, and to feel whether you and I can create a productive working relationship.
Then we can talk through the best way forward for you and your business — group coaching or (on a first-come, first-served basis, if I have availability) private client coaching.
Our Private Client relationship starts with a Discovery Session...
This is where we make a plan. We'll take an hour or so to explore your personal and business goals in more depth, understand your current plans, the challenges and opportunities. Then we'll make a plan for getting started and moving forward.
Normally the first step will be a Strategy Day (or half-day), followed by a programme of one-to-one coaching for a period of, usually, at least 90 days to give support needed for the consistent and persistent follow-through it takes to implement a meaningful business change.
Our 90-Day Business Growth Programme is a structured group coaching programme, combining online and face-to-face meetings, designed to help you implement a specific change in your business.
90 days is the ideal length for a focused programme such as this: it's long enough to get the job done; yet it's short enough to maintain your focus, keep the energy up and put in the work.
At the end of the 90 days there is a choice: book on to another 90-day programme to implement something else or to finish the job; explore Private-Client Coaching; or join the Monthly Business Growth Club, which offers ongoing support every month to keep your momentum going...
Even when you aren't committed to specific changes, it is important to have support, encouragement and accountability, and a consistent level of skills development.
The Business Growth Club combines online and face-to-face meetings where you can engage with a group of like-minded business owners, learn from experts in business and marketing, and maintain the support and accountability that helps so much to keep the enthusiasm and momentum going.
What we do isn't for everybody. So rather hard-sell you on anything, we want to let you have a test drive, so you can see first-hand what we do and how we do it.
Choose one of three ways:
We want you to experience for yourself how we work and what we do. Then you can decide how you want to go ahead.
Sometimes it's about focus and momentum: working one-to-one with a coach can play a crucial role. Sometimes it's about inspiration and encouragement: joining a like-minded, enthusiastic and supportive group can make a huge difference.
We offer both. And you can mix and match as things grow, develop and change.
Private Client Coaching offers a powerful way to keep yourself focused, to keep yourself committed and actively engaged in the process of taking your business forward. We all know how easy it is for the pressures of everyday life to get in the way of taking action to implement change and in those moments working one-to-one with a skilled and experienced coach can make the difference between staying stuck and moving on. Between persevering and falling by the wayside.
Group coaching plays a different role. There is a special quality of encouragement and inspiration that comes from working in a group of highly motivated, like-minded people, especially when collaboration and dialogue amongst your peers is supported by a structured agenda and first-class training from a range of experts in business and marketing.
And, of course, you get the best of both worlds when you combine the two!

I think of it as a 'roles, goals and holes' session, where we can explore the different facets of your world and how they influence each other; the goals and aspirations you hold; and what resources might best serve you in achieving them. It's a proper coaching session, not any sort of sales pitch: it's important we both understand how well we can work together before committing to a longer-term working relationship.
